Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir 2025
Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir 2025
Our second estate-grown release, and a vintage that shows what a warm, dry season can do for Pinot Noir. The 2025 fruit ripened with ease, giving a wine that is lush and fruit driven, with real structure and a long finish.
The vines grow in ancient red Cambrian soils, and two clones, MV6 and 115, were picked by hand and fermented with wild yeast in open vats. 30% of the fruit went in as whole bunches, bringing a carbonic character that softens the palate and adds a silky lift. The wine then spent 18 months in French oak, which adds depth and shape without covering the fruit.
The wine is unfined and unfiltered, with minimal sulphites, and is vegan friendly. Every bottle is filled, corked, waxed and labelled by hand. Drink it now while the fruit is bright, or cellar it for a few years.
