Budburst 2024 - Macedon Ranges Wine Festival

Budburst 2024 - Macedon Ranges Wine Festival

We're thrilled to announce that Northern Hope will be part of Budburst 2024, the vibrant wine festival that brings wine lovers to the heart of the Macedon Ranges. Although we’re still a small winery and don’t yet have our own tasting room, we’re excited to showcase our wines this year at the beautiful Wilimee Winery. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to share our passion with you, and we can’t wait for you to experience our wines firsthand.

Who We Are at Northern Hope

Since starting Northern Hope in 2017, we’ve poured our hearts into creating wines that reflect the unique soils and cool climate of the Macedon Ranges. As a small, family-run winery, we pride ourselves on using a hands-on approach with every bottle. From our delicate Pinot Noir to our limited-release Syrah, our wines capture the essence of the Macedon Ranges, and we’re thrilled to bring them to Budburst this year.

What to Expect at Budburst 2024

Budburst isn’t just about wine—it’s about exploring the beauty of our region, meeting local winemakers, and savouring wines that truly represent the Macedon Ranges. The festival offers the perfect mix of tastings, vineyard tours, and opportunities to connect with us and other passionate winemakers. We’re especially excited to meet fellow wine lovers and introduce you to Northern Hope’s handcrafted wines in the cosy setting of Wilimee Winery.

Northern Hope Wine Highlights

    • Pinot Noir: Our Pinot Noir is crafted to bring out the elegance and complexity of the Macedon Ranges, with delicate flavours that reflect the unique soil and climate.
    • 2021 Syrah: This limited-release Syrah has quickly become one of our favourite wines to share, aged in French oak barrels and offering a smooth, spicy finish.
